about

Some of you may remember "The Pink Cassette" which was sold for a short time at live shows in the late eighties. This tape had five songs recorded at The Other End in Greenwich Village on April 1, 1981.

The band included Clay Barnes on lead guitar, Danny Counts on bass, Alan St. John on keyboards, Mike Heaphy on pedal steel and Bobby LLoyd Hicks on drums.

In addition to the five songs from the initial release we have included an additional 5 tracks that were offered as free downloads on SteveForbert.com plus 4 bonus tracks being released for the first time.

The cover art is a reproduction of the original cassette cover and the download includes an image file with a photo of Steve Forbert and crew circa Spring 1981.
